Southwestern is the oldest direct selling company in the United States. Since 1868, college students have run their own business selling educational products to families in another part of the country during their summer break. Southwestern student dealers come from all over the world and sell product in North America and Canada.

In purchasing Southwestern products, you are a customer of the student dealer. Southwestern is a third party to the sale of these quality, educational products. The contract signed at the time of sale with the student dealer is legally binding. Sales training and products have been provided to the students from Southwestern to help them be successful in their summer endeavor. The training the students receive throughout their school year and for five days prior to selling in the summer include subjects such as product knowledge, sales talks, ethics, business management and safety courses just to name a few.
