Installation and Startup
Windows
When installing Cyberchase Carnival Chaos on Windows® XP,
the user must be logged in to Windows® with administrator privileges.
Close all programs and return to the Windows® desktop.
Click Start and select Run.
Type MSCONFIG in the Open: field.
Click OK. A System Configuration window will open.
Click the Startup tab.
Record the Startup items that are checked so this customized configuration
can be restored after the installation.
Deselect all items under the Startup tab.
Click Apply.
Click OK.
Click Yes when prompted to restart the computer.
When the computer has restarted, login to Windows® as a user with
administrator privileges. If you do not have administrator privileges,
contact the system administrator.
After logging in to Windows® with administrator privileges, insert
the Cyberchase Carnival Chaos CD into the CD-ROM drive.
Click Install and follow the onscreen instructions to install Cyberchase
Carnival Chaos.
Once the installation is complete, follow the steps below to restore
the system to its original configuration.
Restoring the Original System Configuration: Windows® XP
Close all programs and return to the Windows® desktop.
Click Start and select Run.
Type MSCONFIG in the Open: field.
Click OK. The System Configuration Utility window will open.
Click the Startup tab.
Refer to the list of items recorded previously, and check the box next
to each item on the list.
Click Apply.
Click OK.
Click Yes when prompted to restart the computer.
Launch Cyberchase Carnival Chaos.
